Web form opt-in
When you book service at bearknucklegarage.com/book, there is a separate, optional checkbox for text messages. It is unchecked by default, it is not the same checkbox as our Terms and Privacy agreement, and you can submit the form without it. Consent is never required to book, buy, or get service.

My Garage reminder opt-in
Signed-in customers can turn on text reminders for their own machines in the "My Garage" portal. That screen is behind sign-in, so the same checkbox and the same disclosure are mirrored below for review. The toggle is off by default and is never required to save a machine or receive service.

Your repair ticket is opened, and each time the shop pushes an update out to you.

Two-way conversation
You text the shop a question or a photo, and we answer.
Only when you write to us.

Shop promotions (opt-in only)
An owner or admin sends a seasonal offer, and only to customers who opted in to promotional texts.

How you opt in
You are only added after you ask to be. Every opt-in is recorded with the date, the number, and the exact wording you agreed to.
- Text JOIN to (866)210-2327. A customer texts the keyword JOIN to our number. We reply with a welcome message that names the brand, the message types, frequency, "Msg & data rates may apply", STOP/HELP instructions, and links to our Terms and Privacy Policy, then ask them to reply YES. Consent is only stored after that confirmation, and we send a confirmation message back.
- Booking form checkbox. An optional checkbox on the Schedule Service form at bearknucklegarage.com/book, unchecked by default and separate from the Terms checkbox. The form submits either way, so texts are never required to book. The full SMS disclosure — message types, frequency, rates, and STOP/HELP — is shown as the checkbox label.
- My Garage reminder toggle. A signed-in customer turns on text reminders for their own machines in the portal; the same full disclosure is shown, and the toggle is off by default.
- In person or by phone. A customer asks us at the counter or on a call to text them; the shop records who took it, when, and the wording read aloud.
Consent is never a condition of buying anything or getting your machine serviced.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and we stop texting that number. You will get one confirmation, then nothing further. Reply START to turn messages back on, or HELP for shop contact info. You can also call the shop at (866)210-2327 or turn reminders off in My Garage.
Cost
We do not charge for text messages. Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Message frequency varies with the work in progress. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and text message content are shared only with the vendors that deliver the messages on our behalf, and only to deliver them.
